Who We Are

The Ski Club of New Jersey is the oldest ski club in New Jersey.

Begun in 1938 by a group interested in the burgeoning sport of skiing, today this family-oriented club is comprised mainly of New Jersey, residents, with some members living as far away as New Hampshire.

Club meetings are held twice monthly on the second and fourth Thursday of each month- October through April – Twin Door Tavern, 124 West Pleasant Avenue, Maywood, NJ, starting at 8:00 PM. Meetings are also available via Zoom.

Our club owns a Lodge in Vermont, which you may learn about under “Our Vermont Lodge” in the top navigation menu

The club publishes a yearly event list, known as “The Flake”, featuring many fun activities and events, as well as a semi annual newsletter called “The Rucksack” detailing all major events of the ski club.
