Our Chittenden Vermont Ski Lodge is top notch and provides fun winter, spring, summer and fall
Ski Club Ski Club Ski Club
The Ski Club of New Jersey wisely purchased our Vermont Lodge (which was the old Barstow Farm ) in Chittenden, Vermont in 1960. The Lodge is nestled off a private country road, proximate to The Green Mountain National Forest, with its hundreds of miles of trails, ponds, falls and views. While many social events and activities, such as our Annual Picnic, keep us busy throughout the year in New Jersey, the Vermont Lodge is where the heart of our club’s happenings occur, because it is where we go to gather and ski. Through the years, the lodge has gone through a continuous series of improvements. New roofs, new siding, and a multitude of interior renovations have resulted in a rustic and comfortable lodge with all the comforts of home furnishings, a farm style dining room, a large farmhouse kitchen and lodging for fifty two people.

There is a well provisioned recreation room for kids, and a cozy living room with a grand fireplace. The lodge is down the road from the beautiful Mountain Top Inn. (Ski Club Members are given a discount by mentioning we are members); and neighbors are the Fox Creek Inn. We are within reach of the Chittenden Reservoir, and miles upon miles of hiking and cross country skiing trails and summer water sports. The area is ideal for mountain biking, fishing, and there is horseback riding as well. Of course, Killington Ski Resort and Pico Mountain  are the obvious local choices for skiing, as they are minutes away, but Vermont has many others to choose from as well.  The lodge phone number is: 802-483-9385

Visitors to the Lodge, here are some helpful tips:
-Bring linens, towels, pillows
-The Lodge has wireless
cellphone connectivity may be spotty
-You will need a door lock password to enter: ask your host for it should you arrive separately
-The Lodge is a no-smoking premises
-Follow all signage posted for use of all equipment, discarding of rubbish, etc.,
